Executive Florida Celebrity Chef Ron Duprat will be hosting this year's 20th annual charity celebration "Real Men Cook." Real Men Cook is a a charity organization based out of Chicago, Illinois is coming to Miami. The organization holds an annual event each year on Father’s Day in top cities throughout the U.S. The event celebrates families, fathers, and Real Men and will be held in Miami June 21st at the Wolfe University Center in Miami.

Latin actor and singer JenCarlos Canela, was so inspired by the group of at-risk young women who visited Telemundo last year that he composed a song, “Start Living Your Life” in their honor, and in a surprise for Women of Tomorrow supporters, performed it live during the organization’s sold out 8th annual gala held at the Mandarin Oriental. Women of Tomorrow is believed to be the only program of its kind in the country.

The Lilly Pulitzer "A Colorful Cause: Celebrity Designer Program" was established to celebrate the label's 50th anniversary by supporting The Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation.

Professional South African golfer on March 23, 2009 held the Els for Autism charity pro-am golf tournament, held at PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, brought some of the biggest names in golf together to raise money to combat autism. The event raised more than $500,000 for the charity for the Autism Project of Palm Beach County, which underwrites research in search of a cure for autism.
